Phanes Solar at NkhotaKota

The IPP intends to develop 20MW of grid-connected solar PV in Nkhotakota. The IPP has completed land acquisition processes. PPA negotiations with ESCOM Limited have also been completed, and the PPA is ready to undergo approval processes before being signed. The PPA is expected to be signed before end of 2018. The IPP is expected to deliver the power plant in 12 months’ time from signing of the PPA - thus before the end of 2019. The IPP has indicated that there is a possibility of shortening the delivery period.
