Use of biogas and their perceived benefits.

The visits found out that the beneficiaries of the systems which are in good condition and perfectly working, are very satisfied with the technology and when the systems stop producing gas, they are eager to identify the problems but due to their technical incapability’s on the technology, they are not able to solve the problems. However, some beneficiaries report to have fixed the licks in the systems buy using their local knowledge. DoE officers did not go to the sites to commission the systems and impart hands on skills to the users on how to operate the systems and problem trouble shooting and this has an impact as some users do not know what to do when the systems stop working.
